"Black and Blue: Part II - Recognition" is the second movement of the previous exhibition, "Black and Blue: Part I - The Asking and Knowing." Like the previous exhibition, this one displays the work of Kobina Wright in her most recent exploration of sigil energy blended with abstract and surreal ink drawings (in a style Wright calls "Least Pennism") paired with time variations. In this second installment, however, Wright pays tribute to the lives of African Americans who have transitioned violently, the unknowing catalysts for change.
